Louis Shea was born to artist and art teacher parents, so he was always encouraged to pursue his creative talents. Louis studied graphic design at Newcastle University. This led him to freelance illustration; through which he began working with Scholastic Australia in 2006.

Louis has written and illustrated many best-selling books for children, including the popular Where’s Santa? and Where’s the Easter Bunny? books, and There Was an Old Lady and There Was an Old Bloke series.
