Author Biography

Stefan Zweig es uno de los autores má s leí dos de la primera mitad del S. XX y una figura fundamental para comprender el devenir de la Europa de entreguerras. Su obra, que pasa por la novela, el relato, el ensayo, la biografí a y la poesí a, se caracteriza por la delicadeza en la descripció n de los sentimientos y por su firme espí ritu europeí sta frente a la llegada de los fascismos y el estalinismo. Stefan Zweig is one of the most widely read authors of the first half of the 20th century and a fundamental figure in understanding the future of Europe between the wars. His work, which includes novels, short stories, essays, biography and poetry, is characterised by the delicacy in the description of feelings and by his firm Europeanist spirit in the face of the arrival of fascism and Stalinism. Carmen Segovia es ilustradora especializada en narrativa y prensa. Combina las colaboraciones para revistas y perió dicos internacionales con la creació n de libros ilustrados, historietas y otros proyectos personales. Ha ilustrado con editoriales españ olas, francesas, mexicanas y estadounidenses. Sus ilustraciones han sido seleccionadas por la Feria de Bolonia y su obra ha recibido reconocimientos como el Premio Junceda. Carmen Segovia is an illustrator specializing in fiction and print. She combines collaborations for international magazines and newspapers with the creation of illustrated books, comics, and other personal projects. She has illustrated for Spanish, French, Mexican, and American publishers. Her illustrations have been selected by the Bologna International Book Fair, and her work has received awards such as the Junceda Prize.
