Author Biography

Roger A. Caras is the eighteenth president of the ASPCA, the oldest humane organization in the Western hemisphere. Prior to taking on the leadership of the "A," he was with the ABC network for seventeen years, the only correspondent with any network to have the title Special Correspondent for Animals and the Environment. He is the author of more than sixty books.
