Author Biography

Maribeth Mellin is an award-winning journalist who has covered San Diego for more than two decades. As a travel editor, she covered destinations around the globe and was always delighted to return to her home in San Diego. Jane Onstott is an editor, travel writer, and translator who moved to San Diego in 1976 to attend San Diego State University. She has contributed her knowledge of San Diego to several guidebooks, including Best Places San Diego, edited by colleague Maribeth Mellin. She lives in Lakeside, California.
