Author Biography
Linda DuVal worked as a journalist for The Gazette in Colorado Springs for 32 years and has been a freelance writer since 2004. She writes regularly for magazines, newspapers and Web sites and has won a variety of awards for her work. She has lived in and written about Colorado Springs since 1969.
Marty Banks is a freelance writer/editor who has lived in Colorado Springs since 1982. She has worked as a magazine associate editor and in corporate communications and marketing. Her first children’s picture book, The Splatters Learn Some Manners, was published in 2009.
