Summary

Workplace communication has always been challenging. Today it's perilous.

Managers and HR professionals have always needed to find the right words to effectively supervise, motivate, reward, and discipline their direct reports, and successfully navigate office politics.

But today, workplace conversations are fraught with new complexities and have the possibility of leading to legal or reputation liability.

It's vital managers and HR professionals learn exactly what to say, not just to get what they want, but to protect themself and their organization from real peril.

That's where Lifescripts for Today's Workplace come in.

LifeScripts are graphic solutions that provide guidance and talking points on exactly what to say in a problematic situation.

The heart of each LifeScript is a 1-page flowchart showing how to tackle a challenging conversation, from initiating the dialog to responding to all the other person's possible reactions.

In addition to the flowchart you will receive:
a brief overview of the issue;
a high-level strategic approach to the discussion; and
key takeaways.
