Author Biography

Laurie Rozakis, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of English/Humanities and the 1994 recipient of the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching. She has taught English at the State University of New York for more than a decade, and has published dozens of books including The Complete Idiot's Guide to Creative Writing, Prentice Hall Literature, Scribner Literature, and Random House Guide to Grammar and Usage. Dr. Rozakis has been featured on many television programs, magazines, and newspapers including The Maury Povich Show, The New York Times, Fox Good Day NY, and the Chicago Tribune.
