Summary

My job as an author is not merely to provide you with information, but also to make it as easy and enjoyable to learn as possible. I try to achieve this through a clear writing style, beautiful illustrations, the way I structure each chapter around certain learning aids, interesting side notes on the history, personalities, and clinical relevance of the subject, helpful supplements to the book, and personal e-mail correspondence with students using the book. The human body is fascinating and very complex. It's not easy to learn what you need to know for a career in the health and wellness professions; it takes real effort and mental discipline. But if I am effective as a writer and you are diligent as a student, you will acquire a knowledge that is immensely satisfying. Following are some tools that McGraw-Hill Higher Education and I have designed to make this goal attainable. Book jacket.
