Rachel Ashwell, founder of Shabby Chic and author of ten books celebrating the ethos of edgy, faded pastel prettiness. Rachel’s Simply Shabby Chic collection can be found at Target. Her designs are available online at shabbychic.com, there is a Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic Couture store in Los Angeles, and in 2011 Rachel opened “The Prairie by Rachel Ashwell”—a bed and breakfast in Texas. Her other titles published by CICO Books are Rachel Ashwell: My Floral Affair, Rachel Ashwell: Shabby Chic Inspirations, and Rachel Ashwell: Couture Prairie. Rachel lives in LA.
