Summary

Ever wondered how a slug sees without eyes or why it leaves behind that slimy trail? This Is What A Slug Does is a hilariously slimy dive into the surprisingly weird world of slugs – complete with fascinating facts, a bizarre short story, and one truly creepy head-regrowing trick.

How do slugs see when they don’t have eyes?
Why do they leave behind that weird, gloopy trail?
And can a slug really grow a whole new head?
(Spoiler: yes. And it’s as creepy as it sounds.)

This Is What a Slugs Does is the first in a brilliantly funny, fact-packed narrative nonfiction series that takes a closer look at the strange, slimy… and often underwhelming lives of animals.

Full of digging, chomping, sliming and general oddness. Because that is what animals do.
