Summary

We want to be good Christians. So we work at it. Practice it. We excel at the business of "Right Christian Living." Industrious and busy, we try to make all of life, including our spiritual life, safe and predictable. And when that doesn't work, we become disillusioned and wonder what happened to our energetic plan. Obsessed with our efforts to control, we're starving and parching our faith. Wayne Brown shows us how God uses our commitments, sorrows, and joys -- the normalness of life -- to be rivers of his provision. Enjoy your relationship with God again. Leave your old ways behind and practice a profound delight in the Person and way of your first love. Book jacket.
