Summary
No matter who takes care of you
You are loved by those who care
Mommy, daddy, sitter, or aunt
For you, they will always be there
Childcare looks different from family to family. When asked who takes care of them, a child might say their mommy, their grandpa, their nanny, or their aunt. This lovely rhyming board book highlights different kinds of caregivers, as well as the diversity among them.
Author Biography
Jade Orlando was born on an army base in North Carolina and grew up in a tiny Michigan town. After an impassioned childhood spent drawing dragons and cat ladies, she traveled to SCAD Savannah to get a BFA in illustration. Jade worked as a staff children’s apparel artist before switching to freelance full time. She currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband, greyhound, and four cats (including two naked ones!). When she’s not drawing, she can usually be found curled up with my cats and a really good book.
