Summary

James Wolfe is best known today as the victor of Quebec, the battle that decided the French and Indian War. However, the youthful commander, only 32 when he died at the moment of victory, already had a long military career behind him, including service in the Scottish rising of 1745.

Author Biography

Stuart Reid was born in Aberdeen in 1954. Originally trained as a Librarian he moved on to more exciting things, working at a variety of jobs before joining the army and serving in the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, attaining the rank of Sniper Sergeant. The author of Like Hungry Wolves, he is now a surveyor, writer, and filmmaker.
