Summary
Years have gone by since Stephan and Maria rescued Beta IV and found the ancient artifact they're allegedly chosen to protect. They find themselves lingering around a rural planet, where they make friends with siblings Loki and Leila. Life seems rather peaceful, until Leila finds a job for them; to go rescue a stranded artificial intelligence.The mission turns out trickier than they first thought, and the adventure quickly turns into a struggle to save the universe itself. When Maria finds herself lone protector of the world, she only has Stephan to lean on, and her human companion might not be up for the challenge.
